The main theme will be portrait shoot of couples. I plan to arrange to have couples as models to shoot. This event will be much like the 20-Feb-2008 Meet Up with multiple shooting stations and wonderful models to shoot. I plan on contracting two models for the main station to be shot as a couple. The theme of the tation will be “Engagement Photos”. (If you know anyone that is getting engaged and wants a lot of shots, please have them contact me.)

We will also have other shooting opportunities like still life and “Jump” shots that will be expanded on as people volunteer to help. (Anybody that wants to help with a idea of theme please E-mail me.)

Meetup.com Meet & Greet

Written by mk on March 22, 2008 – 11:42 am -

April 5, 2008
7:00 pmto9:00 pm

Some of you might know or have been to the Narrows in Navarre, but this meet is at their newest location in Maple Grove. They took over the old Pulaskis restaurant.

This is a great chance to meet your fellow members, and swap tips and stories. I’ll try to get a projector so we can look at, discuss and critique our images. This will be a casual, informal meeting like most of our meet ups tend to be. I have created a tentative Schedule for the night that will go something like this:

7-7:30 - Get a beverage and mingle
7:30-8:30 - Image critiques and discussions
8:30-10 pm - More mingling

We can also discuss plans for upcoming spring and summer outdoor meet ups. A suggested donation of $2 would be appreciated either at the door or through Pay Pal.
